Your hosts, Brian and Lesley Avery, moved to Marlborough in 2001, and since then have enjoyed tremendously the development of their property, including building an award winning home and growing a thriving vineyard.

Prior to planting their vineyard in 2001/2002, Brian with over 35 years’ experience in the travel industry (both in New Zealand and Australia) is a “mine of information” on all things New Zealand. He would be more than happy to help with any itinerary planning.

Both Brian and Lesley have travelled extensively and welcome international visitors and fellow New Zealanders to enjoy their home and surrounding gardens.  Equally welcoming are Bella, the young black Labrador, and Meg, the ginger cat, who believes she is in charge of all!!  Their home is a home for all guests to enjoy.
